We respect your privacy. This site does not use advertising scripts or third-party behavioural trackers.

Analytics and tracking

We do not use third-party analytics, behavioural trackers or advertising scripts. No visitor profiles are built and no data is sold or shared with marketing platforms.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) collects standard server logs — IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp — for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for profiling or marketing.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not set tracking or marketing cookies. A single functional preference is stored in your browser's local storage so the AI assistant can remember your name and email across sessions. This is optional — you can use the site without it and clear the storage at any time.

What we collect

Paper downloads. When you request the Theory of Change paper, we store the email address you submit together with the paper identifier and the time of the request. We use this only to understand interest in the paper and — occasionally — to follow up. By submitting your email you agree to this storage and to an occasional, non-marketing follow-up; you may opt out at any time by writing to us.

Comments. If you leave a comment, we store your name, email, the comment text and any passage you highlighted. Your name and comment may be displayed publicly; your email is kept private and used only to contact you about the comment. By posting, you agree to this and confirm the content is your own.

AI chat. When you interact with the on-site AI assistant, the questions you send — and any passage you attached — are transmitted to our AI provider (Google Gemini via the Lovable AI Gateway) to generate an answer. We do not link these messages to your identity unless you choose to provide it. Do not paste confidential, personal, or client information into the assistant; treat it as a public conversation. Answers are generated automatically and may be inaccurate — they are not advice. By using the assistant you accept these terms.

Email enquiries. Emails you send to us are stored in our mailbox and processed for the purpose of replying.

Subprocessors

We use Lovable (hosting) and Supabase (database & storage) to operate this site, and the Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini) to power the assistant. Comment and download data is stored in our database within the EU.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data — including comments, stored emails and chat interactions tied to you — at any time by writing to fvw@forestrock.ch.
